Be careful when choosing your tour operator.  You might want to read some of the latest reviews on Tripadvisor.com, as seen below.  The owner of Maya walk tours, according to the local Star newspaper, attacked a resident lately.  There are many great tour operators in town, Pacz being the best, but Hun Chik, Maximum Tours, Kin Winik, and CAT being more than capable.
